Hello fine MWUG'ers, how are we all?

I have a ponderance. The comments section of the WordPress dashboard is a lot more powerful than most people realise, including myself. We have Mike to thank for this as, as far as I can tell, he wrote most of it. One thing that I'm struggling with, however, is how to add a filter to the comments dashboard page. I'd like to be able to filter comments by author.

Now, I've written a function which allows me to display a user's comments for the front-end, which in part has driven me to try and work out how to add this on the back end. I'm aware that we can 'sort' the columns by author name, but what I'd really find useful is having am extra filter up top which listed all the comment author's names.

Any and all suggestions very gratefully received!
