Hi all
Does anyone know of a HTML Newsletter plugin, preferably free, that meets the following requirements?
Able to create email from existing posts
Modify text if needs be as well as include
Able to create own template so we can use our header and footer images
Can embed images in the email as attachment.
Note our content editors will be using the email that is created to send via an existing distribution list, so sending it from Wordpress via its email function is not an issue.
Thanks in advance.
Regards
Newt

Just wondering if you need any integration with Wordpress at all ?
Why not use a service such as Mailchimp / Campaign monitor
they have customisable templates, lists can be segmented, manage bounces, provide metrics on clicks, opens etc

Its mainly for ease of use of our web content editors who will be using the site.
I found the following plugin, which meets all my criteria , but falls down on the embedding the image. The reason why this is a big show stopper is for this particular newsletter, the management people who will read it will likely download it onto their ipad/mobile device and then want to view it in a quiet moment where they quite probably have no wirelesss access.

This has been suggested to me by a friend, but as I said the sending email side of things is going to be handled by my organisation's existing email list.
