Hi Mike/all,

Looking forward to this - I think it would be interesting to get together 'area(s) of interest/expertise' from those attending;

For instance - I use Wordpress to support my personal web-life, various not-for-profits and clubs I'm involved with and I'm learning to use MU for a larger project but I mainly use Wordpress in my work life creating Schools websites and (highly designed) web-based magazines.

What time are we starting?

Hello again - what I meant to say before I rudely interrupted myself was:

I have been playing around with Wordpress using a local install. What I would be interested in would be to hear about how people go about setting up their development environment, any tips and so on.

I'm planning to make it as trivial as possible to create new Wordpress sites, templates and so on. So far I have been tinkering with the Sandbox theme but I also know there are approaches to this that can be done using parent and child themes and so on. What are the most efficient ways to do this tips etc.

There I got there in the end - hopefully I will be able to confirm that I can come on the 14th by tomorrow.
