to Manchester Science Fiction Book Club
Two events, both on Wednesdays, both at 5.00 to 6.00 pm, both free no
need to book. But do come up and introduce yourself at the end!

A live via Skype talk about SF and points beyond. You will be able to
ask questions live from the audience. Everything but the ability to
sign books.

Sam Alex is the Buidling off Oxford Road behind the Academy, with a
huge Greek portico. Go in and walk straight across the main lobby and
down a short flight of stairs that look like maybe they lead to the
Gents and the Ladies... they do in fact go to the theatre.

Geoff Ryman's novelette WHAT WE FOUND has been shortlisted for both
the Hugo and Nebula Awards. His new short story collection has also
been shortlisted for the Lambda Award.
Replacing a final, cancelled speaker in the Science Fiction series
(Kelly Link) , he will now be giving a reading from the nominated
pieces, and from the new edition of his multi-award winning novel THE
CHILD GARDEN.
