Engaging Communities on Energy and Climate Change

Dear Ladies,

We are organizing another event that might be of interest to some of you on the 15th of January in London. It's a one-day course on how to engage communities in energy saving and climate change issues. This course will teach you the skills and information needed to develop long-term engagement of civil society organisations, groups and individuals in work on energy efficient climate change and low-carbon living. 

People attending this course will: 

• How to get community engagement and deliver lasting change on climate and energy issues 
• Understand the issues around community engagement 
• Be clear on the best ways to start a dialogue 
• Learn to lead a discussion on the positive aspects of low carbon living. 
• Learn to support and work with communities. 
• Be able to offer guidance to community groups on reducing their own foot print 
• Receive guidance on how to develop an action plan.
