On 8th, we hosted a women's day event at Gandhi Ashram. 1300 women from Rama Pir Tekro, Jamalpur, Loving ( leper) community, Sabarmati and many underprivileged communities enjoyed the 3 hour of pure fun and joy. Most of these women were rag pikers, construction labor, sweepers and street vendors.
They enjoyed swings, sports, live music, mehndi, nail painting, make up, photo shoot, free jewelry gifts, bhel, ice cream, puppet shows and more.
It was quite an amazing site of all these grown women becoming little girls and having pure innocent fun,Over100 man served to show the love and respect for the mothers and sisters of our communities. Enjoy the pictures in the drive.
