Hi Guys,
I was looking for something and came across this article how they are removing all the pollutants from water using natural resources.

It is worth reading as it is run off water current and solar and seems to be quite effective. Maybe something similar can be introduced around India to clean our rivers back home?

Regards,
Manish

Good one Manish

I think there is a citizen's suggestion website the PM has opened recently

We should try to add this in the site and also email the minister concerned (Uma Bharathi? )

Regards
Sree

I think we should also get in touch with clean Ganga foundation in addition to your suggestion and also try and work out the costs of these units?

Great ideas.. thanks for sharing this and initiating discussion.

Best Regards

Yes Srini
Any Civil / elecric/mech engineering student across Indian universities would gladly work on this as a project....

Manish
Indeed Clean Ganga is a ministry now headed by Uma I think  ... either way this is a worthy project / device which won't cost millions and can utilise locals skills plus environment friendly. ..

I still see CMs and other officials calling McKinsey type consultants for every thing from toilets to rockets which by itself is not bad if we are avoiding reinventing wheel.. but making it more collaborative effort involving Indian stakeholders would be a win win for all

I will be in India for a couple of weeks late September. .. We can meet in Hyderabad Srini if you are around ...

Can we see the potential cost and try and see if any organisations would be willing to fund or govt sponsored for this?

Very happy to have learnt about this just now and just sent an email to Sriram ji to congratulate and passed on the info regarding the solar river cleaning etc.... as I know him from an event conducted in London a few years back!   I got a bit excited and even suggested him to open a blog via MyGov portal to solicit ideas from all related to his portfolio of work....

Will update when I hear more...
