This is a testimony for effective use of natural methods to get natural pregnancy.

Me and my wife had one child - a girl - who was born in 2003. We decided to go for the second child in 2007. However, we were not successful. This was surprising since we already had one child and my wife had an abortion in between.

Meanwhile, my wife was diagnosed with high BP and the Gynaecologist suggested that we should shelve our plans till the high BP is under control. My wife was put on a course of tablets for control of high BP. However, as is the case with allopathic medicines, the high BP was never controlled and only thing that happened was we spent energy, effort and time trying to control it.

In 2008 we started visiting Manas Maral who introduced her to Pranayam and Yoga. By following the instructions, she was able to get rid of the high BP and she also gave up the medication completely. I have sent a different testimony for this which can be found in the google groups.

Around March 2008, we changed the gynaecologist and visited a couple of other doctors. One of them suggested my wife to undergo the HSG test to check if there are any blocks in her fallopian tubes - the assumption is if there is a block, that is the reason for her not conceiving. We did get the test done in Greenview hospital which revealed some blocks.

Now the standard response from the allopathic doctors was to do laparoscopy to melt the blocks. We had a concern around this aspect since I am primarily against any invasive mechanism without a critical need for the same. Also, there were other challenges like the % success of the procedure.

At this time, we again consulted Manas who suggested some acupressure spots and pranayam (all basic breathing exercises). I also had some acupressure points identified for better results.

We both started applying pressure on the acupressure spots, did pranayam and also used the nabhi-pump (for fixing any possible naval dislocation) as suggested by Manas. Additionally, my wife was also listening/reading Vishnu Sahasranama everyday - if you talk to elders they invariably mention that listening/reading Vishnu Sahasranama every day is very good and fixes some of the intractable problems.

Doing Acupressure everyday improved the points gradually - initially, they were very painful and gradually became normal. In course of time, she became pregnant and had a happy delivery. Now we have a baby boy who is 4.5 months old (At present 10 year old). Even during pregnancy, Manas suggested some of the things to be eaten everyday for a healthy baby - we followed them.

Overall, I think Manas did a wonderful job to help us in getting our second child and we are very thankful to him for the same. Overall, I believe there are many things that our culture and customs offer us - some of them are indeed got corrupted over a period of time but quite a few of them do make sense and help us along in our lives.
