I am Usha, I had problem in eyes due to which I had severe pain and
itching in both the eyes. I consulted eye specialist on 16-Jul-2012.
After examining my eyes, he concluded that I am suffering from a
disease named Pterygium. There was a small white pus kind of growth in
both the eyes starting from one end to the other. Doctor had cautioned
that if this growth spreads to the center of the eye ball, I may not
be able to see and would need surgery. After surgery also there are
still chances of recurrence.

I used to knit sweaters using knitting-machine from past 20 years.
Machine used to throw woollen fibre and dust. Doctor suspected that
the dust could have caused Pterygium.
