Please find the attachment and call for papers for the first Internal Conference  in the area of Intellectual Property Rights management and Strategies organized by Shailesh J, Mehta School of Management, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Mumbai, India to be held on 

Feb 2- 5, 2012

Objective:

The four day MIPS conference is expected to provide an opportunity for the researchers from academia and industry across the technical, management and legal stream to meet and discuss the latest issues, strategies, IP business models and valuation techniques and related in the design of Intellectual Property Management Strategies. 

The conference programme will include workshops, special sessions and tutorials, along with prominent keynote speakers and regular paper presentations in parallel tracks. All accepted papers will be compiled in conference proceedings which will be published.

Special Sessions:

---------------------
The conference provides the ideal opportunity for emerging researchers in the IPR domain to interact with experts and practitioners through doctoral colloquium, themed tracks and keynote sessions. Separate workshops and tutorials are also being planned as part of the pre conference event. To enable the industry and practitioners participation, the conference has separate case study tracks across the various industries and also application style papers which apply the various research models into reality.

 
Call for Workshops and Special Sessions

MIPS 2012  is seeking original high quality sessions and workshops related to IP managment strategies - academic and practise oriented. Interdisciplinary session themes are strongly sought after.

Author Guidelines: 
------------------------ 

Please refer to the conference website for guidelines to prepare your manuscript. All accepted papers will be compiled in conference proceedings. It is mandatory at least an author registers for every paper that is included in the conference proceedings. Proceedings will be made available during the conference.
