Hi friends,
regards
I want to suggest one thing here. Selecting the right person is difficult thing. For this we are giving the entire work load or responsibility to one guy is not fair I guess. Why can't each one of us nominate one or two person and finally select the right person based on the profile like financial background and enthusiasm to study and etc... And also for selecting the right person from the nominations, we can form a committee every year and give the responsibility of selection to them.
This is just my suggestion. Any comments are openly welcome...

Hellow everyone,
I do agree with the concept that teachers shows some partiality. But i wont think conducting xams and selecting people is not possible as everyone of us r busy with our jobs. the same thing was proved in the past 1 year also. i.e. even though we conducted xams initially, later people may drop out.
i wont find any other option than selecting on teacher feedback.
get new ideas to implement this effectively. I guess Akividu school is better for this option as vijay(r his dad) know financial situation of many of the people.
wat to so junta?

Hello every one,I hope, all of you are doing great job.I feel1. Getting a right person, who can help us in finding the right student, is very difficult. Believe me, as I have discussed and spoke with my own school teachers, many students in my school needs our help. But when I personally discussed about this, they are clearly showing some partiality. Not only that, few of them tried to discourage me. few are not at all supporting this activity. To my mind, with this option, we won't be able to achieve our goals. Obviously our help will be deviated from the needy people.2. This is a good idea, but above thing applies for this one also.Right now I don't have any idea. Let me break my head for some good ideas. Let us hope for some good result out of this email discussionThanks and regardsVijaya Kumar R

Subject: {Mana PEARL 50} Your action required regarding PEARL.....
I hope everyone is doing well. After a long time i want to update the status of our PEARL. Before 1 year we started this concept with great enthusiasm to decrease the dropouts in the schools. Till now we have not helped even single student from pearl. Very less people are contributing money every month. The reason is obviously because of inactivity.With/Without our concious effort, we achieved a significant amount in the name of pearl So, Now i hope we have to decide our course of action.I think it's the time to take decision about the next step. We failed in the first attempt in conducting exam in AKIVIDU school as all of those copied the exam. These are some of the options
1. Giving the money to some government school poor students based on the feed back given by teachers. For this we should know one good person working in school who won't show any partiality and one person from our pearl who belongs to that place and take the responsibility for everything. For this we need to decide the school and person from the pearl.
2. selecting only 1 or 2 persons who are joining intermediate and trying to concentrate only on those people.(of course its not to minimize dropouts)
Please give your opinions and add as many options as you can. Since, it is not possible to have a meet and discuss. Lets discuss it online thru these mails. and for this lets have some deadline kind of thing since emails cannot be effective medium off reply........I suggest the following as deadlines1. Brainstorming for new ideas (for one week) (i.e., 10-07-2008)2. Giving your opinions on the ideas (for 10 days) (i.e., 20-07-2008)3. Shortlisting and finalizing one or more ideas (for one week) (i.e., 27-07-2008)4. Implementation (by end of july)
To select school, as many of the people r in banglore, can we select one government school in bangalore. If you feel that u r not able to participate in PEARL, please feel free to inform. Based on number of people only we can promise school students. PEARL should keep its promises.
I am expecting a reply from each and everyone.
