Hi Everybody,

I will stop using this account for personal use from August 1st and will be using only for "PEARL". I have taken a new account but cannot fixed deposit in that account for some technical problems with the bank.

Right now, the status of funds is

Savings Account: INR 61500/-
Fixed Deposit: INR 0/-

Will open a fixed deposit for INR 60000 by this month end.

Apart from this, On my recent trip to my home town, I went to Akividu and visited the school head master. He is generous and willing to help us. He made the following suggestions.

1. The Govt. has not allocated sufficient number of teachers to the school. So, the school hires Vidya Volunteers for INR 1200 - INR 1500 a month. These funds are collected from the students of the same school.

2. Instead of giving the entire amount to a single student, 50% of the amount can be given to a single student who tops the exam and other 50% can be used to give gifts (say a pen or a notebook) for all those who write the exam. (Note: my observation is that there are 90-100 students in each class on an average)

3. You can also encourage teachers who help you for the smooth conduct of the exam...............

Please give your opinions on these. I feel discussion of these issues has to be online since calling a meeting at this point of time is difficult for everyone.
