Someone asked me what I thought was the best Gradebook software...

I think the ultimate grading software has to be GradePal...
http://www.gradepal.com . Not only is it very powerful when it comes to
managing and calculating grades but it also allows you to track news,
handouts, lesson plans, tasks, homework's, assignments, and generates a
student site where students can check their grades via Username and
Password. You can turn specific features on or off, so there is nothing
forcing you to use anything. You can even customize the layout of your
site to the T... Including colors etc.. and you get your own unique URL.
They host the site for you! and it even provides an OPTIONAL message forum
for your students. It is really powerful and definitely something to look
into. What makes it number one is how dynamic and easy to use it is. Plus
they don't stick any advertisements on your site ;-p I like it a lot and
give my highest recommendations.
