For those of you who would like to register a business to be tax exempt on orders with Market America as well as avoid administrative fees and then file your taxes online with Dept of Rev quarterly based on what you collect or use personallly, I would highly suggest it. Otherwise you are paying sales tax on retail not wholesale for personal use and you are paying tax on samples, kits etc. It will save you a lot of money. It is free and you only submit whatever sales tax you collect. Please forward to your teams in NC. For those of you out of state, same applies but you will need to register in your state as well as get your states resale request to fax with your certificate when you receive it in the mail. 

So three things get faxed, your certificate when you receive it, the resale request and the sales tax agreement. If you don’t get a certificate, just call and ask them to mail it to you. Some states will give you a number right away online but that will not work, you must have the certificate in print.
