I recently searched for a solution so that I don't have to use Windows Audio drivers. Then I installed ASIO4ALL v2 driver. S1 reconizes it as an output and I can also set everything up etc. but when I start a session I have no Sound. My speakers are connected to my mainboard via an optical output (44.1khz->192khz) and when I launch the settings of asio4all, it shows me that my realtek SPIDF output is turned on, but I still have no signal. Only if I'm switching back to "Windows Audio" but then I have a conflict with my Input with my mixer wich I use for my microfone. its connected via USB and it only supports 48khz. so when I run S1 with windows audio driver (wich somehow only supports 44.1khz) the recording is unavailable. Thats Why I wanted to use ASIO4All. Can somebody help me with this issue?
Hi guys. So I'm using asio4all on Podfarm with a realtone cable (rocksmith) It's working decently, the only problem is that everytime I load up Pod Farm, The input channel isn't remembered. I use either Input 3 or 4, anytime I try input 1 or 2 I get a horrendous screeching sound. (anyone know why that is?) I used to have it where it remembered to use Input 3, I also had it once where the asio4all realtone cable worked on input 1. Can anyone give me some advice on how to get it back to one of those ways?
I'm using labview 8.6.1 and would like to use my asio drivers with labview is this possible? I've installed asio4all hoping that it would show up as another device to choose from but wishful thinking.
yes I have done a search but all I find are comments on how to program a asio driver (which is beyond my skill set at the moment) or explinations on what might work....It would be nice to have a driver since so many people have been asking for this for so long. I searhced online and found the asio4all driver but not sure if there is a direct way to link it to labview.
Hm, what about the iConnectMIDI2 device? This sounds like an outboard audio interface. Afaik asio4all can handle more than one interface at a time in theory - never heard of a proper running system in reality (but may be wrong here). Could all the trouble ve initared here?
I was able to run Ableton Live 7, Reaper and all my vst(i) plugins almost flawlessly. But i have more xruns than with asio4all on Windows when using softsynths at the same latency (256p/f => 10ms). I believe this has more to do with wine task scheduling, as it seems highly related to gui interaction.
The best thing to do is what the flying sloth said, and to get a dedicated DAC/audio interface that has its own driver. It will save a lot of work and hassle for you, while providing better quality. That asio4all driver can be good for some simple applications/DACs that don't their own driver, but aside from that its a pain. Also realtek audio devices usually suck pretty hard lol.Try completely uninstalling the asio4all driver, and reinstalling it. Sometimes the good 'ol power it off and on again trick works with this.
