Hi,

I hope you all had a nice summer! I'm writing to let you know that I will be leaving the country and moving to join my girlfriend in Berlin, Germany in a few weeks. I'm not sure for how many years I'll be gone, but I want to just say thank you for welcoming me into the garden community. In a city with so little public green space, it's quite special that we have a place to relax, grow food, and make neighborhood connections. 

As such a special space that we are privileged to call our own, I would hope that the community aspect of the community garden continues. It's hard to count the amount of people that would stop me while tending my veggies, asking how to get involved- both newcomers and long time residents. I don't know if it means much coming from someone on their way out, but I think it'd be great to have a process for people to get involved, whether it's becoming a member or helping out with hosting a community event. Just my two cents :)
