A reminder to all concerned;

EXTREME WHEELS BIKE SHOP in Council Bluffs DONATED a bicycle retailing
at $300 for MABA to raffle at Maui in Malvern. There are 100 tickets
at $5.00 each. Since all were not sold for that event we tried to
finish sales at the ALL School Reunion in July. Approximately 20
tickets remain to be sold. Sunday, 1 August 2010, Joyce will bring
the Raffle Board to the meeting in an attempt to finish sales so a
drawing can be held. This will result in $500.00 profit for MABA.
So, open your hearts, your wallets, or your checkbooks and help us
finish this project.
Thanks!!

Allen and Joyce Hall

Only 18 numbers left, then we can draw for the new bike. Give us a
call. Allen

Number sales have been brisk from July 31st with 18 numbers
remaining. As I write this 13 numbers remain. It will make a nice
Christmas present for the lucky winner. Allen

Allen,
If the bike has not sold yet, I will ask Classic Cafe if there's room for it on Sat, Oct 9 in the bar.  If so, we may be able to put it somewhere near the lines for Gateway of Chaos, for people to see.  The Tickets person can collect the money for sold spots too.  That's kids night, so a prime opportunity.

Also, will it be out for sale during EPA?  I'm sure we'll pick up extra spots there and perhaps over by the vendors or face painting/kids area??

The numbers were all sold prior to the Sunday, October 3rd MABA
meeting held at the Carnegie Center, Malvern Public Library. The
winning number belonged to Pastor Carl Phillips who was in
attendance. He picked up his new bike Monday and was surprised that
he had won. A BIG Thank you to the Extreme Wheels folks in Council
Bluffs who donated the bike. This raised $500.00 for MABA
Projects. Congratulate Pastor Carl the next time you see him.

Joyce,

I would love to get Cheryl Jones or Bev to take a pic of Pastor Carl receiving the bike for the paper.  I will ask Bev and/or Cheryl if you would please see when Pastor Carl would be free.

Thank you,
Stacy
