City-Wide Initiative
"Let's Build a Fire"

The date for the Second Annual City-Wide Initiative sponsored by
Malvern Area Betterment Association has been chosen, so please mark
your calendars now for Thursday, November 18 at 6:00 PM at the
Community Building. The theme for this event is "Let's Build a Fire".
It will be an opportunity to convene all members of the community and
get fired up about planning the future of Malvern. Here are the rules:

• WE WILL BE THINKING OUTSIDE THE BOX!
• OUTRAGEOUS IDEAS WILL BE WELCOME
• CREATIVE THINKING WILL BE ENCOURAGED
• NO IDEA WILL BE CRITICIZED
• BAD IDEAS CAN LEAD TO GREAT ONES
• ONE SPARK CAN LIGHT A FIRE!

Your ideas, your input and most of all your presence is needed on the
18th. It's important that you voice your ideas, concerns, and
enthusiasm for making a better Malvern. There is no fee to attend,
refreshments will be served. Any commitment you make is purely
voluntary. Donations are appreciated but not expected towards any
project.

All segments of the Malvern area are welcome to come...business
owners, individuals, organizations, clubs, youth, City Council, city
boards, churches, etc. Anyone who wants to have a positive voice about
how Malvern can be improved is invited. Ideas are already in the
formation stages, and now it's time to get the entire community
together to share visions of the future and how to make them happen.
There are no limits to attendance, so your business or organization
may have more than one representative present to submit ideas.
Everyone is welcome.

Leading up to the CWI you will see media and email information about
the event. There will be speakers who will inform you of the latest on
city planning, business opportunities, grant opportunities for the
area and much more.

So please plan to come and bring a friend, an acquaintance, or a
perfect stranger...we need input from everyone. Please call
