Margaret - Paul moved our Design cadre camp presentations from Thursday to Wednesday night starting at 6:15 PDT. Here is the schedule he posted on facebook:I negotiated 6:15 PST for our start presentation time next Wednesday. How about the following format... Introduction 1 min, Video 2-5 minutes, questions rest of time up to 12 mins total. We will have a 2-3 min transition time and should be able to finish in 75 minutes total. Given the time zones I thought the following line up worked best. We will use hangouts to interact. I will have a computer present to capture questions and so you all can have a look at the new cadre.
6:15 GreatOffPaper
7:00 BeyondPD
7:15 KnowledgeCooler
7:30 SpacePlace
7:45 Tetrandia
Your proposed times will work around his schedule, but Thursday is now open as well.MauraOn Fri, Jul 5, 2013 at 6:48 PM, Courses <no-r...@courses.pepperdine.edu> wrote:An announcement has been added in the "ELT 653.20 Su13" site at Courses (https://courses.pepperdine.edu/xsl-portal/site/elt653.20_2134)

Hi all,
Your job postings are very thoughtful and explicit. Thanks for taking this assignment so seriously. And I have heard that the first interview with Yas went well. I hope that all of you have a good experience in doing this activity.
I have a slight problem. I misunderstood the travel agent. We arrive at 8pm not 8am on Tuesday. So I cannot make class on Tuesday. I am hoping that Wed will work instead. I believe your other two classes are on Mondays and Thursdays. So I know that some of you will not be able to make it, as you have arranged your time. I will try to record the session so you can listen. I may try to use a new medium for the class. Otherwise we will use elluminate. Stay tuned for news are where the class will be held. And I am sorry about the change in day.
Wed 5 and 8 pm
If you have another class on this day can someone (say someone who names starts with m) can let me know. (That limits the set of people but leaves it large enough that someone is likely to let me know.)
I have been reading your legacies and at this point enjoying them. I cannot critically comment on all of them, although it is helpful for each of you to get comments and respond to them. I am going to suggest that you use your partner for interviews and read their legacy statement and the questions I suggested for the critical friend review and give comments to your partner to encourage a second pass through your legacy statement. But I have to say that I am pleased with many of the first postings.
Looking forward to interacting with you on Wed.
All my best from Qatar where both my Learning Circle and Action Research talks went very well. (Doug I played your song at the end).
Margaret
