is being done monthly at present. Constructive feedback

This newsgroup is a part of the malta.* hierarchy.
The charter which follows was officially adopted when the
newsgroup was created or during a subsequent formal revision.

malta.* newsgroups are available worldwide
and open to all who can access them
CHARTER for moderated group malta.news.announce
This newsgroup will be used for FAQ's and announcements relevant
to the malta.* hierarchy. All sites carrying the hierarchy are
expected to add the group. Users wishing to discuss administration
policies etc should instead use news:malta.config which is
provided for that purpose. For general discussions on Malta, please
use alt.culture.malta.
Unapproved posts and posts with forged approval are subject to
cancellation without notice.
ADVERTISING
Commercial advertising is not allowed on this newsgroup
BINARIES AND FORMATTING
Encoded binaries (e.g. pictures, compressed files) are not allowed throughout
the malta.* newsgroups.
Such material should be put on a web or FTP site and then a pointed
to these may be posted. Cryptographic signatures (e.g. PGP) may be
used.
Posts must be readable as plain text. HTML, RTF, Word DOCuments and
similarly formatted messages are discouraged, since not everybody will
be able to see them correctly.
The only allowed crossposts are FAQs and Charters which may be periodically
posted to malta.announce and malta.config.
