Annabeth Gish plays the new Special Agent Monica Reyes in the X-Files.
The actress is known for her roles in Double Jeopardy, Beautiful Girls,
and Mystic Pizza. She can be seen in A death in the Family, Pursuit of
Happiness and Buying the Cow.

She plays an FBI agent from the New Orleans field office with a master's
degree in religious studies.

The character is supposed to be a complement to Doggett.
