CONNECTION Between MY HERO and DOCTOR WHO

Is there a connection between the BBC's MY HERO ( a comedy about an alien
superhero ) and DOCTOR WHO?

I mean, besides being both by the BBC...

At first Ultron seems a parody of Krypton, but it must be a Gallifrey parody,
too.

Why, first of all: the references to the Ultron Council. It's not just any old
Council, but like the Gallifrey High Council, they can take away Thermoman's
powers and change his appearance ("looks" and "face" they actually said on the
show).

It seems to me that Ultron must somehow be related to Gallifrey.

Secondly, Ultronians like George Sunday have two hearts. Just like the Doctor.
They mentioned that twice.

I can imagine a fanfic where they crossover... the Doctor meets mild mannered
shop keeper George Sunday. George, with his x-ray vision, notices that the
Doctor has two hearts like himself! Probably the two worlds have common
ancestors, or were colonies of some older planet. :)
