Blessed Gorg Preca has a special connection with the Maltese Family. He has a
special connection with the Kana Movement, also.

Mons. Charles G. Vella, founder of the Kana Movement, writes himself that
after he came up with the thought to open the Kana Movement and had spoken to
the Archbishop Gonzi, he also went to ask Dun Gorg for his opinion. Dun Gorg
told him: "My son, take courage, because this is a beautiful work. Do not
fear, because many will be against it, but God and Our Lady will be with you."
