Hi Everyone,

I posted this a while back and got no reply; I hope these posts are
getting out

Sorry to have left everyone hanging...it's been very hectic getting
settled in and dealing with a doubling of the student body. But,
things are settling down now and I can get back to planning a
meeting.
I am checking on the availability of a suitable meeting room for us.

In the meantime, there have been a number of suggestions for topics
to
cover, and there are a couple themes that pop out. Below are the
topics mentioned and people who seem to be interested in talking
about
them:

Repositories:
Marlee Givens, Keith Gilbertson, Scott Turnbull

Discovery Tools:
Bob Trotter, Seldon Deemer, Kim Durante, Bill Clayton

Drupal:
Susan Parham

Emory’s geospatial program development:
Kim Durante

Lightning Round

GGC Library tour: GGC Library faculty

HOPSA meeting to follow? Brad Baxter

Anything new in Galileo? DLG?

If any of you have additions, please post them; for those of you who
mentioned you would like to present, please post your topic and
approx. how long you would need, and we'll start putting together a
program.

Once I find out about the availability of an appropriate meeting
space, I will throw out some possible dates.

Hi Everyone,

I have sent this out a couple times and have not received any response.

Has everyone lost interest? Too busy? Shall we try for a December meeting or shoot for January?

Here are the subject areas that have been suggested:

Keith and I are still happy to talk about repositories. We can do a GKR update in about 30 minutes.

December and January are both good for me.

Hi Scott,

Either Shawn Kiewel or I will be able to give a GALILEO/DLG update.
I guess either December or January would be okay.

Thanks,

Brad

Hey Scott,

I would be willing to talk about our latest efforts in Discovery Tools
& Services and/or our Geospatial Stuff.
The 1st week of December does not work for me, but other than that i'm
pretty much free.

I'm definitely interested; but after the holidays probably works better for me.

Scott, I think January would be better for me. Lot of things going on between now and end of December.
