Hello fans of Gottberg Brew Pub,
You are all cordially invited to a going away party for Jeremy Kirby, our Brewmaster for the last 3 years and a welcome party for our new Brewmaster, Ehren Schmidt. The party will feature a bit of free beer and a bit of free food for everybody to enjoy. If you have enjoyed beer from Gottberg in the past few years or plan to in the future, please make the effort to come on out to this event.
The party will take place September 21's at 7pm in the banquet room at Gottberg Brew Pub and Dusters Restaurant. We hope to see you there!
A bit about Jeremy and Ehren:
Many of you already know Jeremy Kirby. He has been the Brewmaster at Gottberg Brew Pub since July 2009. He and his family will be moving from Columbus to Roanoke, VA to start a regional production brewery that will provide sweet, sweet beer to the mid-Atlantic coast. Come see him off and wish him luck! He's going to need it....
New to the brewery is Ehren Schmidt! Ehren was born in St. Louis, MO and has recently lived in Colombia, MO. He has been homebrewing for many years and has recently worked as an assistant brewer at Rock Bridge Brewery in Columbia. He and his girlfriend, Nora, are migrating to Columbus to keep the beer flowing and the love of beer growing in Columbus and all of Nebraska! Come on out and welcome them to town!!
