BCF is up and ready for entries. Go get em!
We were talking at the meeting about how great it would be if we all entered our amber ales and give them judges a work-out!
Meeting was good again. A pretty light showing, but lots of good info and beers. We were able to try the 2 brown ales that were brewed at the BBD party at Tom's on May 5th. They were both good and very different. Also, Nate O. brought in a real good cream ale and a chocolate oak aged stout, both were very good. I can't remember off the top of my head the other beers.
We have not picked a future style for the last few months, so I'm just going to throw a couple out there for the next few meetings.
July we can just do American Amber Ales since it will tie in with out HWY 81 Throw down.
August... how about German Pils and maybe some Bohemian pils thrown in. I'll have my Powerhouse Pils ready by then so we can throw that in the mix.
Any objections or suggestions are welcome.
Next meeting is July 6th. Same beer time, same beer channel.
Cheers!
Jeremy
