I can only find dark and light theme on anki desktop.
Ankidroid has four themes Light, Plain, Dark and Black. I use Black theme on Amoled screen.
When I view cards on desktop it does not feel consistent.
Please include Black theme or guide me to setting if it already has.
Trying high contrast mode on Windows has no effect on Zim Wiki (except for the title bar). The background remains blinding white. I know Zim Wiki can be given a dark theme on Ubuntu, but I don't have enough room on my laptop for a virtual machine.
Is it possible for Zim Desktop Wiki on Windows to be given a dark theme? Is there some trick or workaround that I'm missing? Maybe someone can share the contents of their gtk.css and settings.ini files, so I can create them manually?
With Eclipse 2020-09 as well as 2020-12, the Eclipse dark themes have a problem on my Windows 10 machine: Selected entries in many tables and dialogues, e.g., variables in the debug perspective, are black on dark. Ironically, it also shows in the "Colors and Fonts" selection dialogue:
Unfortunately, I cannot seem to find the relevant setting. Changing the theme to something light and back to dark has not helped, neither has setting "Force Colors", nor uninstalling and reinstalling DevStyle.I have also tried removing the workspace .metadata and the projects' .project, .settings and .classpath and setting it up again from scratch (but in vain).
The OS on the machine in question is a Windows 10 Pro, up to date, as Windows claims. I have set the theme to a pre-defined one ("Flowers"). I have switched to the theme "Windows", but that did not change the behaviour (at least of an existing installation).I also ...
My current/only theme for this machine is a dark mode, but Scribus only recognizes windowsvista, Windows, and Fusion as Theme options, and none are dark. I am running 1.5.8 from the most recent download option.
In the Color theme list, choose between the Blue theme, the Blue (Extra Contrast) theme, the default Dark theme, and the Light theme. Or, choose the Use system setting option to select the theme that Windows uses.
Want even more themes to choose from? Check out the wide range of custom themes on the Visual Studio Marketplace. And to see examples of new Visual Studio 2022 custom themes based on VS Code, take a look at the Introducing a collection of new Visual Studio themes blog post.
This article shows you how to customize the Visual Studio color theme from the blue theme to the dark theme. Then, it shows you how to customize the colors for two different types of text in the code editor.
It is the Qt6 gui framework there control if the gui is in light or dark mode based on the system setting.
Shotcut have no control over it, in qt5 it was possible to select themes from the application.
The options in your screenshot are only available to me if high contrast mode is turned off and standard dark mode is turned on. And most of the apps/software that I use daily do not display dark themes unless high contrast mode is on. Dark mode and high contrast mode are two different groups of system settings. Having to constantly switch between dark mode and high contrast mode is annoying.
Man calm down, its really time consuming and hard to overwork an Gui from Scratch. Obviously the McNeel team is prioritising other development. If you would start coding, you would know how difficult it is to implement a fully tested feature. The older a programm gets the harder it is to change those things properly. Especially if you support Multi-Platform. I for myself see this whole Dark Mode theme as low priority, eventhough I would definitly like to see a decoupling from the Windows Settings. Which is doable and should have been done from first minute on.
There's no way to change those special folders currently, as they're rendered by the Windows shell which doesn't expose any methods to change its colors. (We have an option to make it change the background color, but the text will still be black if you use that, so it's no use with inverted themes.)
I just installed new windows 10 terminal. It is simply superb. I want to change the theme to black on white (currently it is white on black). Any configuration available for that? I got some configs for
I have RStudio 1.4.1103 on a new Windows 10 machine. Dark themes do not work, any of them (both in Classic or Modern). I googled around but I couldn't find a solution, does anyone has the same issue?

PIX now has a Dark Theme! You can enable Dark Theme in the Theme tab in the Settings menu. We hope this often requested feature will keep eyes feeling fresh while working in the dark, and allow you to choose a theme that matches other apps in your toolchain. Theme preference persists between app launches.
There are several ways to use a Dark Theme on SSMS main coding window, either importing a vsettings file, applying Dark Theme that is disabled on a config file or doing it manually. But all those options do not affect Grid Results, Object Explorer and other windows. Those 2 are the main ones I use other than the coding one.
By the way, the reason that the actual Dark theme doesn't fully work even when it's enabled is because the theming is a feature of Visual Studio, which SSMS is built on top of. However, SSMS adds a lot of UI elements that don't exist in VS (such as the results grid), so the VS themes don't affect them.
The title bar, toolbars, and menus for Edge turn dark, but most web pages themselves remain unaffected---unless that website chooses to respect your dark theme. You'll need a browser extension like Turn Off the Lights to make the whole web dark.
You can also set your theme separately in the Groove music player, Movies & TV video player, and Photos apps. However, they'll use your system theme setting by default. You don't have to change the setting manually.
Many other Windows desktop applications have their own theming options and engines. For example, Google Chrome will respect the color mode set in the system settings, but you can override it to install your own themes. Some of Chrome's dark themes are pretty different from the default dark mode, so if you're looking to add some custom flair, they're worth checking out. Firefox includes a built-in dark theme you can enable.
Setting this high contrast theme makes most desktop applications show a dark background. However, they don't look all that great. High contrast themes are an accessibility feature designed to increase contrast, so the screen is easier to read and understand. They don't look nearly as slick as a modern dark mode would.
WindowBlinds doesn't have a built-in dark mode (though some built-in themes are darker than others). You can always create your own by clicking the "Modify Style" link under any theme. You can adjust pretty much anything you can think of there. But, there's an easier way.
Just head to the WindowBlinds section of the WinCustomize site. There, you'll find all kinds of WindowBlinds-compatible skins you can download. After downloading one, double-click the file. The theme will be added to the "Style" tab in WindowsBlinds so that you can apply it (or customize it) from there.
I just threw some Hex Colors into the post above- did you change them to a color you preferred?
Choosing the right color for the theme you are using is up to you. I cannot choose them for you since I do not know which theme you are really using and what your preferences are.
The color in the gtk.css was OK and I also tried other colors and there was no problem in windows coloring.
The problem is at the top right corner of my screen where there is a sticky note (from Indicator Stickynotes) which normally should be yellow but after applying the gtk.css, it turned into black.

I have recently installed GNOME 3.2 and I would like that the title bars on every program had the same color as the black toolbar that GNOME has, because I have the ambiance title bars and I don't like it. I've looked everywhere but I didn't find any way. Does anyone know how to do it?
I am a Visually Impaired person. It's why I have to use OS in 'High Contrast Black' theme in order to manage my work in home and office. Sometime I also have to use Magnifier. But what about outside the world of OS ??
Thanks for quick reply....Links for required files and registry value not working....Can you please provide me necessary files and steps to integrate 'High Contrast Black' theme in 'WinPE10.wim'. I don't much aware of autoit. A step by step tutorial will help me better if you can...
While you'll still need a third-party tool to run this dark Windows theme, it's easier than both Nocturnal and Penumbra to install. You need UXThemePatcher, but can otherwise download the file and put it straight into C:\Windows\Resources\Themes.
Hover Dark Aero uses translucent blacks and grays to create a sleek and visually impressive user interface. If you want to recreate the look you see in the image above, you will also need to download the creator's associated theme pack. The icon pack is included in the theme's download files.
