Khata and Electricity transfer related info

Hi All,

       Manas knows a BBMP person who will do Khata  and Electricity transfer. If we go in group we may get some discount and the person is coming on Saturday.

So, keep photocopy of Saled-Deed ready, if you are interested in transfer of Khata and Electricity.

Rate quoted by him :

Electricity Bill Transfer: 1500

Khata Transfer: 4000

Manas said Sale deed is good enough and I guess when I got elec transferred to my name only Saled Deed was required.

I have got B-Khata and electricity name transfer last year. I think the charges mentioned above for Khata transfer is bit high. I gave 1500 to one BBMP guy(Name is Ramu) who will be there is kundalahalli BBMP office.

Is he getting A-khata for us? if so Please let me know.

Yes this if for khata ( or as per you A khata).. There is nothing which is called B khata. BBMP use to issue a document in leu khata for the property which don't have khata bifurcated  as B khata. I too have this but this has not binding in the court of law. :)

Take my words, B khata is of no use. just a imposter :)

Yes Mukul. B khata has no use but i heard for all our area they are not at all giving A khata because of deviations and other stuffs.

If he is providing A Khata, i am interested to get it done.

You are correct... there are some issue with deviations and betterment charges as per bbmp.. so we are trying to get things done in unconventional way :P... lets see
