Hello All,

Good News we are getting Kaveri Water in our apartment.

I hope this will resolve water problem at-least to some extent.

I have given two sealed folios at security, one having all the bills and balance sheet and other with the court notice we had earlier.

 

You have cash as below in the envelop.

 

·         4537= last month carry forward

·         1150 = Savita’s payments against the plumbing bill in feb month.

·         4500= balance of the collection of this month after paying security and housekeeping of amount 4500 and 3000 respectively.

 

You need to collect as below :

 

·         5000 Rs from Joynil ( previous security) in two halfs . shadul will help you to get 2500 this month from him.

·         1150 Rs from Kannan /Rajesh similar to the one savita paid above.

 

 

Amrender has the balance for the AMC paid this year, he shall share later those bills and account. I guess if we have funds in that we can try getting intercom fixed and AMC with that money.

Actually I agree, he has done many times. Any ways lets not break the list. maybe now u and me will get after 2 years J.

It been  tough 6 months of maintenance manager at Malibu Homes 2. But i guess we all have to take this pain to make the place live able.

 

Tomorrow, on the eve of Ugadi , i shall be handing  the baton over to Prabhat from SF4. For next 6 months he would be taking care of the maintenance and other apartment activity. i shall be available if required on need basis though.

Water meter fixing will be best and the final solution, that will ensure we save the water and out bills are controlled, I hope someone takes the initiative and gets it done.

Also we need to rethink on one of the decision which we had taken earlier and has gone wrong. The Rain water harvesting setup, as we are reluctant to use the rain water collected from the terrace probably we should dig the rain water pits and channel the water in to the pits that will at-least recharge the ground water and probably a small service to Mother earth.

I am with you on this Bro... I hope ppl are not sarcastic and pull punches that why we wasted money sort of..

That time this was necessary as for kaveri it is mandatory and breaking the floor there have issue, as our tanks are also there. lf we break every thing ( 55k lossed) and spend 20K more i guess. if ppl are all OK to spend this is good idea.

But, you know what, the water from top is clear actually the problem is the concrete we had put it is damn dirty. we can just spend 5-6 K to get the terrace painted and cleaned and remove the dirty stones and put white chips. this what keerthana did.

Agree, painting terrace and white chips,good sand we can do to utilize rain water harvesting and can think of using of non kitchen purpose.
Rama told that Ramu plumber will come this week for pipe meter related. So just wait for some more time.

I think RW can be used by mixing it with tanker water.. asny ways all have purifier at home. and they will also have kaveri line in kitchen too

Few suggestion for Meeting with plumber bhai log.

1) Ground floor pipe can be reused. and no need to put new one.

2) 20( 18 flat +2 common) meter has to set up on terrace with turn leaver before it. and close it in a iron box.

3) One/ two over head tank is for kaveri already available need to just disconnect from other two or put a turn key instead.

4) Disconnect two sumps and put a pump for kaveri  sump.

5) Each house at the kitchen where kaveri line enters will have a meter too  (18 number). the existing piping for Kavei shall work i guess.

All this think has to happen in in stages with out disturbing the residents stay. may be few flat at a time in a day.

Hi All,

My points based on existing work:

1. We need to understand the purpose of RW harvesting. The Terrace water is not fit for drinking at all and Water purifier is not the solution for this. We need to review how others have done on RW setup, rather than blindly copying Keerthana (as we did in past).

2. It requires Lot of pipe disconnection and re-connections for metering work as we have common pipeline on each side of all floors. Please Plan in advance for each apartment before to start.

3. Proper alignment (Tanker\Kaveri) of water sump at ground (parking) floor and on Top floor tanks.

Everyone, Please feel free to share IDEAS.

What ever is requried will be done for metering, few days of disruption is expected but we have to bear with it, i think Rama is a wise person and will take care of disruption. lets leave it to his wisdom :)

Hi Rama

Please start the collection,  I think its been 3-4months since. We collected maintenance.

More over 1.3 lac spent on main electricity box replace is yet to be collected too.
Now expense for distemper.

It will be very difficult for ppl to pay due is suddenly needed. As we have exhausting fund we had collected for pending metering work. Believe me getting from tenent will be further dificult.
