I suggest we begin the Monday night fly tieing the first Monday in
November. Nov.3.
How does that sound with all?

Have not heard whether the tying has started organized or
unorganized. I e mailed one of last year's frequent tiers who
speculated that Perter would anounce the start and possibley post
suggested flies. Neil

We are going to begin our Monday night fly tying sessions on December
8th at 7:00 PM. Last year these sessions were very popular as Ed
Flaherty lead us through Denny Rickard's "Seal Bugger" series. We also
did some work with Dry Flies, Streamers, and Nymphs.

On Monday, Ed will lead us through the "Wiggle Tail Nymph". For the
future, Wally Bruce has agreed to lead a few sessions on tying
Streamers.

I am looking for ideas on flies that people want to tie. So far we
have devoted time to flies that work well at the Pond. To continue to
learn and improve, I was wondering if people had other flies in mind
or techniques that they would like to learn.

As always, I will try to give everyone a heads up on the fly of the
week with a list of materials. Bring whatever materials you have and
we'll all share. If you want to start fly tying but don't have the
equipment, we can probably find a few vises, etc for you to use.

I hope to see you on Monday,

/pete
