പ്റസ്സിദ്ധീകരണത്തിനു

റിയാദ് ഇന്ത്യൻ ഫ്റണ്ട്ഷിപ്‌ അസോസിയേഷന്റെ  (റിഫ) ക്ഷണം സ്വീകരിച്ചു ഈ മാസാവസാനം റിയാദ്
സന്ദർശിക്കുന്ന പ്രശസ്ത പരിസ്ഥിതി ആക്ടിവിസ്ടായ ഹരീഷ് വാസുദേവന്റെ സന്ദർശനം
വിജയകരമാക്കുന്നതിനുവേണ്ടി വിവിധ സാമൂഹ്യ സാംസ്കാരിക സംഘടനകളുടെ പ്റതിനിധികൾ ഉൽപ്പെട്ട സ്വാഗത
സംഘം രൂപീകരിച്ചു. ഇന്നലെ (മാർച് 8) റിയാദ് ന്യൂ സഫാ മക്ക ക്ലിനിക് ആഡിറ്റോറിയത്തിൽ ചേർന്ന
യോഗത്തിൽ റിഫക്ക് പുറമേ  ന്യൂ ഏജ്  സാംസ്കാരികവേദി, ഓവർസീസ്‌ ഇന്ത്യൻ കൽച്ചറൽ കോണ്ഗ്രസ് (OICC),
തനിമ, യൂത്ത് വിഷൻ, പ്ളീസ് ഇൻഡ്യ, മലപ്പുറം എക്സ്പാറ്റ്റിയെട്സ് അസോസിയേഷൻ (MEA) ഇടം സാംസ്കാരിക
വേദി, റിയാദ് ടാക്കീസ്, നാടകം ഡോട്ട് കോം തുടങ്ങിയ സംഘടനകളുടെ പ്റതിനിധികളും പരിസ്ഥിതി
സ്നേഹികളായ നിരവധി വ്യക്തികളും പങ്കെടുത്തു.

മാർച്ച് 28-നു റിയാദിലെത്തുന്ന ഹരീഷ് വാസുദേവൻ പശ്ചിമഘട്ട സംരക്ഷണം, ഗാട്ഗിൽ-കസ്തൂരി രംഗൻ
റിപ്പോർട്ടുകൽ പസ്ചിമഘ സംരക്ഷണം, നദികളുടെ മലിനീകരണം, ആറന്മുള വിമാനത്താവളം, മണൽ-ക്വാറി
മാഫിയാകളുടെ ഇടപെടലുകൾ, വനനശീകരണം, നെൽവയൽ നികത്തൽ തുടങ്ങി കേരളത്തിന്റെ സമകാലീന പരിസ്ഥിതി
സംബന്ധമായ  വിഷയങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചും താൻ നടത്തിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന ഇടപെടലുകളെക്കുറിച്ചും  സമഗ്രമായ
പ്റഭാഷണം നടത്തുമെന്നാണ് അറിയിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളത്‌.

കൂടാതെ പരിസ്ഥിതി കവിതകളുടെ നൃത്താവിഷ്കാരം, ചൊല്ലിയാട്ടം, കഥാപ്രസംഗം തുടങ്ങിയ
കലാപരിപാടികളും ഇന്ത്യൻ സ്കൂളുകളിലെ കുട്ടികൾ വരച്ച പരിസ്ത്ഥിതി സംബന്ധമായ ചിത് റ ങ്ങളുടെയും
MEA-യുടെ ആഭിമുഖ്യത്തിൽ ഫോട്ടോ പ് റ ദർശനവും  ചടങ്ങിനൊപ്പം ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കുന്നതാണ്.

27 അംഗ സ്വാഗതസംഘത്തിന്റെ കണ്‍വീനറായി റിഫയുടെ നിബു വർഗീസിനെ തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു. സഹകണ്‍
വീനർമാരായി ഷാജഹാൻ എടക്കര (MEA ) സലിം മൂസ (തനിമ), രാജൻ നിലംബൂർ (ന്യൂ ഏജ് ), നൗഷാദ് അസീസ്
(റിയാദ് ടാക്കീസ്), അബ്ദുൽ ജബ്ബാർ (റിഫ) എന്നിവരെയും തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു.

PROFILE OF HAREESH VASUDEVAN

കാസറഗോഡ് ജില്ലയിലെ നീലേശ്വരത്ത് 1985 ജൂലൈ 17 നു ജനനം. ചായ്യോത്ത് ഗവ.ഹൈസ്കൂൾ, പുതുപ്പള്ളി
ടെക്നിക്കൽ ഹയർ സെക്കണ്ടറി സ്കൂൾ, നീലേശ്വരം രാജാസ് ഹൈസ്കൂൾ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിൽ സ്കൂൾ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം,
കാഞ്ഞങ്ങാട് ദുർഗ്ഗ ഹയർ സെക്കണ്ടറി സ്കൂളിൽ പ്ലസ് ടൂ പഠനം. ജില്ലാ കലാപ്രതിഭ, പ്രസംഗ-ലേഖന
മത്സരങ്ങളിൽ നിരവധി തവണ സംസ്ഥാനതല വിജയി എന്നിങ്ങനെ പാഠ്യേതര വിഷയങ്ങളിൽ മികവ് പുലർത്തി.
കോഴിക്കോട് ഗവ:ലോ കോളേജിൽ നിന്നും 2008 ൽ നിയമബിരുദം നേടി. ഇപ്പോൾ എർണാകുളത്ത് ഹൈക്കോടതിയിലും
ചെന്നൈ ഗ്രീൻ ട്രിബ്യൂണലിലും അഭിഭാഷകനായി പ്രാക്ടീസ് ചെയ്യുന്നു.

2008 ൽ അമൃത ടി.വി യുടെ 'ബെസ്റ്റ് സിറ്റിസണ്‍ ജേണലിസ്റ്റ്' മത്സരത്തിൽ മൂന്നാം സമ്മാനം ലഭിച്ചു.
സാമൂഹിക-പരിസ്ഥിതി പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളിൽ അഞ്ചു വർഷമായി സജീവ സാന്നിധ്യം. 'വണ്‍ എർത്ത് വണ്‍ ലൈഫ്' എന്ന
പരിസ്ഥിതി സംഘടനയുടെ സെക്രട്ടറിയാണ്. 'പാട്ടവ്യവസ്ഥ ലംഘിച്ച തോട്ടങ്ങളും പരിസ്ഥിതി നയവും'
എന്ന വിഷയത്തിലെ സ്വതന്ത്ര ഗവേഷണത്തിന്  2010 ലെ 'ഗ്ലോബൽ ഗ്രീൻ ഗ്രാന്റ്സ് ഫെല്ലോഷിപ്പ്' ലഭിച്ചു.
നെല്ലിയാമ്പതി, ആറന്മുള, എൻഡോസൾഫാൻ തുടങ്ങിയ പരിസ്ഥിതി സമരങ്ങളിൽ സജീവ സാന്നിധ്യം.



 Served as a member of RTI Evaluation Committee-2010 of Kerala RTI
Federation. Conducted two month’s research on ‘The 5 year experience
with RTI Act and its impact on Bureaucracy’ and published the result
as an article in Mathrubhumi Weekly.





.    Published a political evaluation article as Cover Story in
Mathrubhumi Weekly, jointly with Dr.Shiju Joseph, about the
post-television Politics in Kerala namely 'Televishanil tholkkunna
CPM'.





·        Served as the National campaigner in Ban Endosulfan
Campaign, in the year 2010. Member of Endosulfan Victims Remediation
Cell, Kasaragod.





·        Serves as the Secretary, One Earth One Life (a Voluntary
Organisation works for the protection of Forests and Environment).





·        Worked as the State Resource Person of SCERT Teacher’s
training, in the subject of law and Bio diversity.





.    Edited a book on the comparison between Gadgil Report and
Kasthuri Rangan report, jointly with Prof.MK Prasad, and was
published by DC Books.
