Just found out I am a member of this group. So in the spirit of good
manners, giving a short introduction.

I am a retired scientist (associate professor) but with son (used to
be 2) to put through college on my pension, but have plenty of time
and practically glued to the computer for most of my waking hours,
taking every excuse to walk to get some much needed execise plus
sunshine which is needed to put the essential Vitamin D into my body.

My first blogs are environment related, the main one:
http://enviromansays.blogspot.com

Then got into some health related blog
http://foodasmedicine.blogspot.com

With time, learned much about Google Blogger, HTML, CSS, Blogger tags,
now forced to pick up a bit of XHTML

Then started Blogger related blogs
http://bloggerfordummies.blogspot.com
found "for Dummies" is trademark of Wiley Publications, changed the
blog title to "Dummies Guide to Blogger" and started another Blogger
related group
http://blogger-tricks.blogspot.com (Blogger Tips and Tricks)
which proved to be popular especially with new bloggers as you can see
from the comments left by grateful bloggers:
http://blogger-tricks.blogspot.com/2004/05/comments-about-blogger-tips-and-tricks.html

Then Blogger introduced Blogger Beta and announced there will be a
forced migration later which alarmed me as there were many problems
reported, so another blog
http://testing-blogger-beta.blogspot.com
but now very happy with the New Blogger (no more beta) and upgraded
practically all my blogs to the new Bloger templates

Got itchy somemore as many says my instruction is as easy as ABC so I
thought an "online book" for absolute beginners might be a good idea,
and one more blog:
http://dummies-guide-to-google-blogger.blogspot.com
only trouble is, no time, but have sufficient content to get new
bloggers started off quickly and refer them to CONTENT at the top of
every page.

My only connection with normal website to to write some HTML in
Notepad and save it into my computer as html file, so can view with a
browser offline. Never did FTP

Now may have to content with CNames and ANames and DNS registration as
I registered 2 domains waiting to use for the new Blogger custom
domain, but proceeding very cautiously because if done the wrong way
myblog.blogspot.com and
www.myblog.blogspot.com
may have different result, with one redirecting visitors to new domain
and the other leading to parked page or "Page not found"

So don't really know if I belong to this group. But I suppose there is
some connection as all bloggers are by default webmaster as they are
master of how their blog will look like on the web.
