Check out www.appfog.com. They are giving away hosting with upto 2gb ram. They will host grails 2.0.3 apps.

Thanks for sharing.
App Fog is a PaaS provider which still need to depends on IaaS provider's infrastructure such as AWS, Rackspace, MS Azure, etc. So, it is not totally free as we still need to pay for the bill of infrastructure.

I deployed Grails Activit Vacation Request Sample App successfully at http://grails-activiti.aws.af.cm/.
It is running on Grails 2.1.0, MySQL 5 and sending e-mail using Gmail account.
Lastly, it is FREE at the moment.
