Grails Central Issue

Hi All,

 I've been trying this with many unsuccessful attempts, just like to check whether anyone else is having the same problem. I can't seem to get to Grails Central to get the list of plugins. A simple grails list-plugins says it has been unsuccessful, with the popular message to check whether I'm behind a proxy (which I'm definitely not). I've tried with 1.3.7, 1.3.8, 2.0.4, 2.1.0-RC2 to no avail. I had similar problems a few weeks ago, then it seems to clear itself automagically, and its resurfaces again today. I'm suspecting something is wrong with the plugins repository, but I'm checking with the locals first. Thanks!

Hi Suhaizal,

Try to add the following config to your BuildConfig.groovy's repositories:
mavenRepo "http://repo.grails.org/grails/plugins"

You should on the go... Let's see whether it works.

 Will try that. I've just received a response from grails.org saying that the repo is indeed having a problem of some sort.

Heh. Time is one thing that we don't have much. :) Figured out some other alternatives - back to basics. :-|. Thanks for the response.

I didn't solve it - have to wait till they fixed the server. Just going back to basics, i.e. build everything one by one, manually, and have to do without the plugins for now. :-|
