KUALA LUMPUR - Telecommunications and Internet services provider Time dotCom Bhd said it has appointed Ericsson as the sole supplier to upgrade its network to provide broadband services.

In a statement, Time said under the agreement, Ericsson will provide services that include supply, delivery, installation, integration, testing and commissioning of Ericsson's IP-DSLAM Ethernet DSL Access EDA system, which is a full-IP-based solution for high-performance broadband.

The EDA system will enable Time dotCom to deploy new services in the future such as IPTV, interactive TV and advanced gaming applications.
