My dear friends

With your help and support, we have been able to celebrate Onam with many underprivileged Ammas. When Onam is nearby, the Ammas expect this celebration where they can have a great Sadya & mingle with other Ammas as well. We always do this gracefully without any publicity and treat these Ammas with high respect

We would love to celebrate this festival this year also with around 100 Ammas. A detailed mail received from our Dr Peter is self explanatory.

We seek your kind sponsorship for the same where we can give some happiness to the underprivileged Ammas

As per our practice, the relevant bills/documents/photos will be shared with the sponsors.

We express our sincere thanks to all in advance

Wish you all a Happy Rakshabandan 🙏

GOD Bless

With love

Gopal

P.S. my personal thanks to Mr Saje Thomas for sponsoring a Laptop to me. Thank you Sir, thank you so much 🙏

Subject: Heartfelt Proposal – “Onam Amma-marodoppam” (Onam with Mothers) on 31 August 2025

Dear Sir,

Warm greetings to you.

As we approach the season of Onam—Kerala’s festival of unity and gratitude—we once again seek your kind support to bring honour and dignity into the lives of some of our most precious and forgotten elderly Ammas.

With your unwavering encouragement in previous years, the “Onam Amma-marodoppam” initiative has become more than a celebration. For over 100 elderly Ammas—aged, ailing, widowed, or simply lonely—it is a day that renews their spirit, a rare occasion to step out of isolation, wear their best, sit together with love and laughter, and partake in a festive meal they otherwise cannot afford.

Onam falls on 4 September 2025, but we propose to organize the event on 31 August 2025 to accommodate logistics. True to tradition, we hope to offer each Amma:

  • A sumptuous Onam Sadya (traditional feast)

  • A Set Mundu (symbol of dignity and tradition)

  • Auto fare to travel comfortably

  • A modest Onam kit with daily essentials

Their repeated inquiries, eager anticipation, and even emotional reminders compels us to act. This program isn’t just a meal—it’s a reunion, a reassurance, and a rekindling of belonging.

Thank you for your continued compassion and support. With your blessing, we hope to make this Onam unforgettable for those who need it most.
