Dear Sir,
With utmost respect and gratitude, we approach you and our kind sponsors seeking support for the upcoming “Vishu – Ammamarodoppam” program, to be held at 10 a.m. on 11 April 2026 at Piravom, Kerala. This cherished signatureinitiative, now entering its 13th edition, is dedicated to honoring around 100 underprivileged mothers (Ammas) by offering them a memorable Vishu celebration, on the eve of Vishu.
As in previous years, the program will include:
A sumptuous traditional Vishu Sadya served on banana leaves
Vishu Kaineettam for meeting conveyance charge
Grocery/provision kit containing essential items
Ayurvedic general-purpose medicines for elderly mothers
Cultural program performed by student artists of Natya Kalashektra School of Dance, who recently participated in the Republic Day celebrations at Rashtrapati Bhawan, Delhi.
This occasion is more than a festive gathering—it is a celebration of compassion, peace, and goodwill. Vishu embodies the spirit of giving, and through this program we honor mothers as the nurturers of family and tradition. Many of these Ammas face challenges of age, illness, and loneliness, and this event provides them not only with nourishment but also companionship, recognition, and joy.
We are also proud to acknowledge the contribution of 28 ASHA workers, who play a vital role in identifying and escorting the Ammas to the venue. Their dedication to village healthcare, especially for the elderly Ammas, is invaluable.

PS: We shall make arrangements for local contribution/funds. Other expenses such as memento, side-dish kits, medical kit, banner etc will be met locally. Subject to availability of funds, we shall increase the number of items, the number of Ammas etc.
