My Dear Friends

We all are always eagar to celebrate each festival with family and friends. But there are many underprivileged Ammas who are not able to celebrate any of the festivals.

We will not be able to celebrate the festival with ALL such Ammas but try to celebrate this Vishu with atleast around 100 such Ammas from Ernakulam Dist.

Dr. Peter was kind enough to agree to organize the same on 13th April, 2023 at Piravom, Ernakulam District. Thank you so much Sir.

The proposed program details are given in the enclosed message of Dr. Peter. We would love to have atleast some of our members attending the same to see the happiness of these underprivileged Ammas. Those who are interested to join may please do let us know in advance.

We could get excellent discount from the manufacturer for 100 Set Mundu. Thanks to our Committee Member, Ms. Sree Rajmohan, for organizing the same.

The total cost for organising this is explained in the attached mail of Dr. Peter. Those who are interested to be part this, may please inform us and money to be transferred only after our confirmation, as we need only Rs.75524/- for this specific purpose.

The relevant details/bills/photos etc shall be shared with the sponsor. If anybody would like to sponsor the set Mundu to these Ammas, shall share the bank details of the manufacturer so the the sponsor can make the payment directly to them against their bill.

We express our sincere thanks to you all for the help and cooperation and we are sure we will have the blessings of these Ammas.

Wishing all a Happy Vishu in advance.

GOD Bless

With love
Gopal

Dear Sir,

Vishu greetings to you, exactly a month in advance!

There are many underprivileged aged uncared Ammas (mothers) residing at adjoining Piravom region of Kerala, who cannot afford to celebrate forthcoming "Vishu" on their own. There are other unfortunate economically disadvantaged Ammas who are are not able to celebrate their favourite "Vishu" due to absence of their dear ones, near to them with supporting hands.

This year. "Vishu" falls on 14th April which is on  Sunday.  Subject to MFG approval, we are desirous to give  opportunity to   economically disadvantaged Ammas for  get-together on this occasion on 13th April 2024 Saturday over "Vishu Sadya'' (Vishu lunch).

These unfortunate aged Ammas, for many years now, are excitedly, impatiently and enthusiastically  waiting and looking forward to this occasion. They are grateful for the  generosity extended by MFG patrons every year for them on this auspicious day.

May we request your kind approval to serve Vishu sumptuous Sadya,  Vishu Kaineettam and auto-fare to 100 Ammas this year also, like last year. This gives them happy moments of get-together, mingling with everyone, sharing joy and enjoying cultural items. Reminiscent of  their younger age, they also present certain cultural  items. Alongwith it, we make arrangements for a dance school students to perform to entertain  them. This MFG platform gives them comfort and consolation in  time of distress or sadness.   They use this occasion to share their words of wisdom with the younger generation. As in the past, they will return home fully satisfied by spending quality and  meaningful time,  expressing gratitude to sponsor patrons and MFG and praying for them.

"Vishu Amma-marodoppam" program was organised last year on 14 April 2023
The following were the expenses incurred:
(Despite the increasing cost, we budget the  same 2023 expense, this year too)

Vishu "Set mundu"                                Rs 34,304.00    (paid by MFG direct to supplier)
(Items procured through the good offices of MFG member Madam Sree Rajmohan)

Vishu Sadya 125 persons @ Rs 130      Rs 16,250.00

Misc - Chair, table, Kannat  etc             Rs   5,000.00

Auto rickshaw conveyance -
100 Ammas  @  Rs 200 per person)     Rs  20,000.00

Total                                                      Rs 75,554.00

We shall submit bills and invoices to MFG promptly after the event, as done earlier.  If any of our patron members will be around on this date, kindly request them to join to meet Ammas and to celebrate Vishu with them at Piravom.

We look forward to receiving your kind approval so that we can plan the event in advance.

Kind regards.
AC Peter
