Dear Friends
When Heart is stopped working, it will be end of our life. Children are the life of all parents, irrespective of their status. It will be very unfortunate to have heart ailments, especially to the less-fortunate people for whom it will be a dream to get it operated at the best hospitals like Amrita Hospital, Kochi.
Dr. AC Peter is a God gifted person who comes forward to help such less-fortunate people to give life to the poor children under Gift of Life under FREE OF COST. Thanks a lot Sir.
So far we could facilitate “Gift of Life” to following poor children at Amrita Hospital, Kochi, referred through our organization.
We can see many requests in the social media, but not sure about the genuineness. We request all of you to kindly refer any poor children who are looking for help for the heart surgery. We will not be making any payments directly to the parents/patients; however, Dr. Peterji will ensure that such surgeries will be done absolutely FREE OF COST by making the payment directly to the hospital.
“Helping hands are better than praying lips”. Let us try to save life of atleast some less-fortunate people.
Once again our special thanks to Dr. Peter for making this happen! Our sincere thanks to the Amrita Management for extending the best services.
GOD Bless All
With love
Gopal

Dear Sir,
Gift of Life surgery program was heard by Mr Dr N Mohanan from MFG Circular message from Ahemedabad. Thereafter, the message regarding such facility was passed on to Mr PE Shajith by Dr Mohanan. The result is saving lives of following children:
1. Fathimath Zakiyath, 8 years, female
This child from Kasarkod area is admitted today 3/3/2017 at Amrita hospital Kochi. She will undergo open heart surgery for BT Shunt under CPB with atrial septectomy on 6 March 2017 at Amrita hospial, Kochi.
2. Shivanand, 8 months, male
Child from Kasarkod area was admitted on 19 Feb 2017. Underwent open heart surgery for AV Canal Repair on 21 February 2017. After recuperation, the child is discharged today 3 March 2017 from AIMS Kochi.
3. Adinath B/o Jijita, 15 months, male
Adinath B/o Jijitha from Kasarkod area underwent evaluation on 28 Feb 2017 at AIMS Kochi. The child has only one kidney. Illness is also complex. However, luckily, the oxygen saturation level is Ok - almost 94%. Due to above medical reason, experts have also evaluated the child. It is felt that child can tolerate the heart surgery proposed . Child will be fit to undergo surgery by April beginning. Till, then child will continue to take medicine prescribed by AIMS experts.
4. Vaiga Lakshmi, 1 year, female from Badagara area was admitted at AIMS Kochi on 2 January 2017. She underwent open heart surgery for PDA Ligation on 9 January 2017 and was discharged from hospital after recuperation on 16 January 2017.
5. Adi Narayanan, 2 years, male from Badagara area was admitted at AIMS Kochi on 12 December 2016, operated for Surgical repair (Redo sternotomy + Bidirectional Glenn Shunt + Arterial Arterial Septectomy + MPA Ligation Sur repair on 15 Dec 2016 and discharged on 04 January 2017. This child was suffering from neurological problem/stroke. Last week, this child came back to hospital for treatment (not heart related). His heart condition is OK after surgery.
6. Vaiga Vijesh, 6 years, female, Calicut, was admitted at AIMS Kochi on 26 October 2016. She was evaluated/treated and discharged because Doctors team found that she did not require open heart surgery.
Photographs of the children are attached. We do not have a picture of Adinath b/o Jijitha because this child will get admitted in April first week only.
Open heart surgeries are going on regularly at Delhi hospitals without any restrictions/limit. We cannot commit for Kochi as it depends on depletion of earmarked funds. We have already done lot of surgeries at Amrita.
Your blessings for this project is highly appreciated.
Kind regards,
AC Peter

Dr N Mohanan of Badagara (Kerala) now referred the third child for open heart surgery. This child
Vaigha Lakshmi, 1 year, female will get admitted at Amrita hospital Kochi on 2 Jan 2016 for PDA device closure or open heart surgery. Amrita has cleared the case for procedure. We shall visit the child on 3 Jan 2017 at Amrita hospital, Kochi
Earlier Adhi Narayan, 2 years, male, (surgical repair Redo sternotomy + Bidirectional Glenn Shunt + Arterial Septectomy + MPA Ligation) came to AIMS Kochi on 12 Dec 2016 and got operated.
Vaiga Vijesh, 7 years, female (VSD) who came on 26 Oct 2016 was the first. However, this child did not undergo surgery but was treated. We are attaching photos.
All these three children got treated/operated totally free of cost to beneficiary. MFG circular helped Badagara people to get to know about this humanitarian program "Gift of Life". All these children were poor and they could not afford the cost of surgery.
Just for your kind information because Dr N Mohanan who referred these chidren got reference through you.
Kind regards,
