KIGALI - The Indian community in Rwanda, under their umbrella association, the Indian Association of Rwanda (INAR), yesterday, participated in the monthly community work locally known as “Umuganda” in Kacyiru Sector, Gasabo District. The community was joined by Dr. Aisa Kirabo Kacyira, the Mayor of Kigali City, cleared the bushy area in the Uruguru Estate in Kacyiru sector.

    Kagabo pulls out of Challenge Cup

    RWANDA’s senior referee Issa Kagabo will not officiate at this year’s Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup. The centre referee, who had successfully passed Friday’s cooper test jetted back yesterday to mourn his late father.

    The Cecafa secretariat has now summoned Uganda’s Ali Kalyango to fill the void.Primus league regular Hudu Munyemana has also been summoned to replace the ineffective Sudanese referee Rassas Librato Sabit who failed Friday’s Cooper test.
