Will a scholar favour me with the phonetic description of the
malayalam sound ppoularly represented as 'zh' as found in the words
'Bharatppuzha River' and the malayalam word "va:zhapazham" ‘banana’?

watch how the word azhagu is pronounced in this song..though the song is tamil..zh sound is same in malayalam and tamil..It takes a litlle practise to get it right..
