7 days of 1-day tournaments, 7 games each, June 28-July 4, 2013 CSW and TWL, leading up to my 2-day MSI Event July 5-6, 2013:

Hello, Everyone,

I am thrilled by the response so far for the 2-day 16-game CSW and TWL Mind Sports International Scrabble Tournament July 5-6, 2013 at the incredibly luxurious Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

For the benefit of people traveling a long ways to get here and wishing to take advantage of my $100 entry fee (a savings of $200) for the Main MSI Event, (and about to book airline tickets) I am hereby announcing 7 more 1-day TWL and CSW tournaments of 7 games each.

There is no commuter fee -- you can stay where you like. That said there will likely be some prize for the player whose name appears as primary rez holder who choose to stay at the Venetian using the scrabble code, being worked out now at approx $180 per night for up to four people.

MSI have only offered to sponsor the event July 5-6 (Friday and Saturday) with possible children's and/or newbie nonrated events on Sunday and Monday (July 7-8).

Since it is the most important long holiday summer weekend in America, and MSI event, though fabulous as it is, only lasts a couple of days, I have NASPA approved  7 one-day tournaments leading up to my MSI event:

7 one-day tournaments of 7 games each

July 2 Tuesday 7 games
July 3 Wednesday 7 games
July 4 Thursday 7 games

Information for the 7 one-day tournaments:
~ each of these 7 pre-MSI one-dayers will include ONE TWL Division and ONE CSW Division subject to a minimum of 4 players in each Division
- you may choose to play on any of these 7 days. these 7 one-dayers are independent of each other. however, I will think of some prizes to give for players competing on multiple days
- each of these will be NASPA rated. the CSW events will be both WESPA and NASPA rated
- the primary motivation for these events is to cater to the insatiable needs of my fellow scrabblers to play lots of rated tournament games on this long weekend
- with a sane 8:45 start, and 7 games, you'll have ample time to relax and/or enjoy the incredible shows only Las Vegas can offer!

~ entry fees for each day = $30 per 7-day daily event by April 30, $50 May 1 - May 31, $75 June 1- June 25, $100 after that
~ REFUND Policy: 100% refunded iff less than 4 in an event. NO REFUND for any other reason.
~ Likely Venue: The Venetian Hotel, Las Vegas
~ Venetian rates at $180/night for up to 4 people are being finalized. But you may stay anywhere you want! That said, incentives are being worked out for the PRIMARY rez holder (one person) staying at Venetian using scrabble rates.
