East and Central Africa Scrabble Championship

Dear All,

This is to let you know that this coming weekend, there will be the East and Central Africa Scrabble (ECASA) Championship in Nairobi, Kenya.

I see that you guys are still getting yourselves organised. You are missing out on this one. We shall have the Collins Cup in Cape Town in April and there is the SA Nationals in June (jburg) and Malawians can be invited to these tourneys once you are organised.

For the ECASA, the host Country is providing food and accommodation. All one has to do is fly themselves there.

Should anyone be interested (I am cognizant of the fact that you literally have 24hrs notice), you could still contact me and I can have you squeezed in.

Wake up Malawi Scrabble, there is a whole world waiting for you!

Also remember that in November this year, we shall have the World Championships and you are not late to participate.

Dear All

 

Those who are interest can contact Paul for travel arrangements. But I believe we need to be organised as a country for future tournaments. I really wish we could meet and play some games. Ladies and gentlemen lets propose one weekend within April for these games.

U guys Paul did open the door for you but you cannot organise yourself. You have a committee in place yet you are not making progress. How do you expect to perform in Kenya without training?
