In response to your mail dated 3rd of November 2011 we are putting a few key points which we would like to touch upon during the meeting proposed with you
Please note that all these points are common to the residents of Malancha, Anahita , Sunrise Symphony and Hiland Willows
1) Location Presently it is extremely difficult to guide visitors to this area in Action Area IIB - we face immense difficulty to provide the direction to taxi drivers,
courier man ,service engineer for the common household items, our
friends /relatives or any outsiders who need to come OR would like to
come to this place from M.A.R.
Our Proposal - 5th Rotary to be completed at the earliest preferably end November,2013 - Fixing of Signage for direction towards the above four complexes at 5th ROTARY i.e at the intersection of M.A.R & Street No :501 - Additional direction at the intersection of Street No: 501 & 587 - Dedicated Signalling System to be made operational
2) Public Transport This is a lonely place . Those who are having cars can only move . It is very difficult particularly for the domestic helps / drivers etc since there is no public transport for this location . Now at all the four residential complexes most of the LIG flats are empty and we presume that this is directly correlated with the non-availability of public transport in this area
Our Proposal - A)Local Bus Stand ( Proposed Location : On the road in between Malancha Housing Complex and Ordinance Factory Housing Complex i.e near the crossing of Street No: 622 & 645 ) - At least one bus route should go through Narkel Bagan - DLF-1-Sector-5 –Karunamoyee-City Centre-1-PNB-Ultadanga and another should go to Airport via MAR-City Center-II
B) Route Permit for Auto Rickshaw - to Eco Park - Nababpur via Street No:624-622-587-501- Service Road as there is no street light of the present route followed by the Auto Rickshaw-Possibility to extend this route to Narkel Bagan
OR
Route Permit for the Auto Rickshaw - From Hiland Willow/Anahita to Akankha More via Street No:622-645-568- Akankha More
3) Absence of proper market - Since there is no market in this area we are fully dependent on Spencer’,s at Chinar park, Food Bazar at City Center-II. To access these shopping malls and /or VIP Road , Airport we are forced to follow the Street No: 624--->622--->587--> 501--> Service Road ( Since 5th Rotary is not operational ) --> Nababpur Crossing --> Akankha Crossing ( 6th Rotary ) ---> City Center-II --> Chinar Park.
Our Proposal - Request to make ready of the Street No: 645 ----> 568 --->6th Rotary ( Akankha Crossing) ( including street light ) to enable our movement faster
4) BSNL Telephone Exchange/Laying of Broadband Connectivity optical fibre line - currently the area is not catered to by BSNL or any other service providers like Siticable who providing cable/optic fiber based calling/broadband services
Our Proposal - We would request HIDCO to provide an instruction to the Calcutta Telephones to create the necessary infrastructure for providing the residents with Internet and Landline connection. Similar issues being faced by the private service providers also needs to be re-looked upon.
Sir against your proposal of including 3 key points we have taken the liberty to add one more since these four issues are extremely critical for making this area of action area IIB more habitable.
Although we have proposed the solutions that we could think of we would welcome any other solution which you might offer which suitably addresses the problems high lighted

If you recall during your visit a proposition came up for a possible meeting with you to discuss the key issues which are being faced by all the residents of the various residential complexes in Action Area IIB and you have suggested that we should look at getting the same organized sometime after the pujas.
With reference to the above we would like to request you for a possible time window in which the representatives of Hiland Willows and some of the neigboring residential complexes would like to meet you at the HIDCO Bhawan

1. The condition of the road (No. 621) in front of all residential complexes specially between Malancha to Hiland Willow is very horrible whereas all the nearby roads have been reconstructed and in really good condition.
2. Recently one side of this road has been encroached illegally. This will not only spoil the beauty of the place, but also safety of the place will be threatened. In last few months, the no of such constructions in that place increased considerably. To stop this we need to take necessary action now only. All the residents of all the complexes should come together. We may approach HIDCO to take necessary action. We may also inform local police to help in this regard.
