This tool was incredibly easy to use - I have limp and pretty flat hair and now I look like the good version of a Disney princess with bouncy hair in 5 minutes. This was a solid win! I used a crimper in the late 80s/90s - this is much better than that.

Hairdresser used this tool on me and the lift lasted into the next day. I ordered it and got the same results as my hairdresser. Great tool. I highly recommend it to give a lift at the top of my fine limp hair.

Love this product! It really does work. I have no product in my hair at all and I don't even need to put product on. I am 52 and my hair is getting thinner, especially on top. This 100% works. So happy. Plus it's pink!

The VOLOOM Hair Volumizing Iron is an entirely one-of-a-kind styling tool, designed specifically to add fabulous volume to your hair. You simply style your hair as you like, then as a finishing step, on dry hair, use VOLOOM to add volume to the under-layers of the hair closest to the scalp. This gives the hair full, healthy, sexy volume.

If you have longer hair, thicker hair, or just want to go big, Classic will be the one. If you have medium length hair that is medium fine, Petite is your go-to tool. And if your hair is chin-length or shorter, or if you just want a little boost at the root, ROOTIE the Rootlifter will do the job. Take our quiz to find out which tool is best for you.

Yes. But these conditions present challenges to all hot styling tools, including VOLOOM, and may require some adjustments in your styling routine. First, you need to use VOLOOM on dry hair, especially in humid conditions. If the hair is damp, or if you sweat, the structure that VOLOOM provides will not last as long. Also, you may find that you need to use the same type of styling products that you would usually use in these climates to combat humidity, such as humidity blockers, heat styling sprays or finishing sprays. These will help to preserve the volume in humid environments.

Gerry, could you expand on this a bit. If you changed the z-factor, will the output units be in the z units rather than the xy units? The tool documentation is ambiguous, but led me to believe the volume would always be in the xy units (the only evidence is the statement "This is typically used to convert Z linear units to match XY linear units.").

Thanks for your prompt reply Darren. I understand when to change the z-factor, but my question is about what a change in the z-factor does to the output volume units. In my case, I'm working with a DEM that has units of m x m x cm (the standard format for NED DEMs), so I think I specify a z-factor of 0.01 m/cm (though now your answer confuses me about the appropriate value). Assuming that's all correct, my question is: Is the output volume measure in units of cubic meters, or cubic centimeters? I had assumed it would be cubic meters, but the values seem way too large to be correct, and dividing by 1e6 cm3/m3 seems to make them more reasonable.

The output values will be in unit of measure of the projected data. If your raster is using UTM zone X, the volumes are areas output by the tool will be in (assumed) m^3 or m^2. Failure to convert the cm z values to meters will result in calculation errors.

often i come across when running a project at a good listening level that when i use the play tool to listen to a specific location of raw audio on the track the volume is very loud in context. the adjustment in Preferences of the Scrub Tool volume does NOT adjust the PLay volume!
if i turn down the control room volume the playback of the project is also lowered.
any workaround, suggestions??

hi martin.
thanks for your answer regarding this back then. it still is an awkward way to set the volume. it also seems that Mediabay actually remembers the previous setting visually at the little fader, but it needs to be touched once to actually make the setting happen as adjusted,
is there a faster way to do this right in the arrange window? or as a fixed setting somewhere in preferences so i do not have to go in each session again and again after loading and make the adjustment.
or can you give me the exact audio path of the signal when using the Play tool?

thanks martin.
the volume slider position looks the same as where it was set before closing Cubase, but actually, the vol itself is reset to a quite high default setting. as soon as i move the slider a small amount up or down the actual volume reflects the fader position. this will only be obvious if you set the vol quite low (around 25%) which is where i need to put it if i want the play tool to play at a level that is not blasting me away. this is because i work with quite conservative gain stagings (-18db) so i need to set my monitor vol relatively high. which results in the play tool vol to be way too loud.

Since not so long ago the Volume tool in Logic Pro X has stopped working for me. I used to be able to double click an, for example, audio file to adjust the volume. Now, however, I can't seem to get this done. Does anybody know what I'm doing wrong? It could be just me, or maybe Logic itself. I'm curious!

Hey Edgar! Thanks for replying. Ah no, I'm not talking about the Volume Slider, but about the Midi draw, which allows you to adjust the volume. Once you've selected a region, press 'View' located in the toolbar right underneath the Bar/tempo/note meter etc. This doesn't seem to work for me.

I'm attempting to calculate the volume of a dam. I've used DEM data to create a contour level and I've selected the level that the dam will fill to in order to create the storage area. This gives me a polygon to feed into the area input in the tool along with the same DEM data that was used to create the contour level as the DEM Height Layer.

This is where things get a bit odd. If I chose the option of 'Accurate Approximation' and run the tool using 1m increments (its a 10m high wall) I get 0m3 results, and the V_abnove and V_below columns are added to the polygon properties table with 0 values. If, however, I choose 'Simple Mean Value' instead, I get two additional columns added to the table, this time with data:
