Helpapplications leverage future architectures by providing them with state-of-the-art discretization algorithms that better exploit the hardware and deliver a significant performance gain over conventional low-order methods.

CEED is a research partnership involving 30+ computational scientists fromtwo DOE labs and five universities, including members of the Nek5000,MFEM, MAGMA, OCCA and PETSc projects. You can reach us by emailing ceed-...@llnl.govor by leaving a comment in the CEED user forum.

CEED is producing a range of software products supporting generalfinite element algorithms on triangular, quadrilateral, tetrahedral andhexahedral meshes in 3D, 2D and 1D. We target thewhole de Rham complex: H1, H(curl), H(div) and L2/DG spaces and discretizations, including conforming and non-conforming unstructured adaptive mesh refinement(AMR).

Our algorithms and software come with comprehensive high-order support: we provideefficient matrix-free operator evaluation for any order space on anyorder mesh, including high-order curved meshes and all geometries in the de Rham complex. The CEED software will also include optimized assembly support for low-order methods.

No matter the user, patient, or throughput, our Companions guide users through even time-critical procedures, including emergencies and CT interventions. This helps them interact easily, naturally, and precisely with both patient and technology.

While most CT systems excel in power, scan speed, spatial resolution, or temporal resolution, they compromise at least one of the other metrics. SOMATOM X.ceed benchmarks the category with an optimal combination of high temporal and spatial resolution, power, and scan speed designed to master the most challenging clinical situations at low dose. myExam Companion offers radiology teams automated guidance throughout. The result? Elite performance of both CT and personnel.

myNeedle Companion functionality is currently available for ARTIS VE2 as syngo Needle Guidance, laser crosshairs, and applicable scan protocols. myNeedle Companion for ARTIS angiography systems is currently under development and does not yet fulfill all applicable General Safety and Performance Requirements according to the European Medical Device Regulation (EU) 2017/745 (MDR). myNeedle Companion for ARTIS angiography systems is not yet available for sale. Its future availability cannot be guaranteed.

Through its scholarships and mentoring programs, the UCLA Center for Excellence in Engineering and Diversity (CEED) provides students from groups that are traditionally underrepresented with opportunities to succeed at UCLA and beyond, broadening the pool of diverse engineers entering the field upon graduation. About 330 undergraduates currently participate in CEED, making up approximately 8% of the UCLA engineering student body.

In her second year at UCLA, Regan Patterson considered switching out of the engineering program, but the staff at CEED encouraged her to stay. Today, the 2013 chemical engineering graduate conducts research, organizes events and advises members of Congress on transportation policy as a fellow at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation (CBCF).

Patterson was introduced by CEED to the National Society of Black Engineers where she served in several leadership positions. CEED also provided her the opportunity to engage with marginalized youth and participate in outreach programs for underrepresented students.

Patterson said CEED helped advance her career through exposing her to research from her very first quarter as an undergraduate student. These experiences influenced her decision to further her education at UC Berkeley. Her doctoral thesis covered how rerouting trucks affected air pollution levels in urban environments.

This course covers updated guidance on key topics and results to deliveron Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) and Climate, Envionment, Energy, and Disaster Risk Reduction (CEED) results in the new UNICEF Strategic Plan 2022-25. It builds onthe WASH Foundational Course delivered in 2019 which is available on AGORA.

This course is composed of 9 modules in English, with French and Spanish interpretation. Each module introduces 'key messages' with guidance on topics and results to deliver on WASH and CEED results in the new UNICEF Strategic Plan 2022-25.

The modules refer to webinars that took place in 2022. The presentations cover the global strategic context, UNICEF results in the new SP followed by the organizational accountability on results and reporting. As WASH is cross-cutting across many other sectors, our cross-sectoral global leads are also engaged to share how WASH is positioned within their delivery framework. It will also cover on the key organizational enablers and change strategies to strengthen our thought leadership and vision to deliver better on our results.

After each module a final activity will encourage you to reflect on the learning. You can obtain your certificate of completion by scoring at least 80% in each module, and succeed with the final evaluation.
