Hi all!

Wow - what a fantastic response to my very first Kickstarter Project!  Thanks to you, I was able to meet my fundraising goal in less than a week!  I am truly stunned by such generosity and by the gesture of support for my work.  I'll be thinking of you and updating you as I travel to Los Angeles with "Mud Offerings" in a few weeks!

If you've been waiting for payday to donate, please do still keep me in mind!  I'll gladly accept donations on Kickstarter all the way up to August 4, and will be using donations above and beyond my minimum fundraising goal to help pay for all those fancy travel "extras" like... well.... food, cab fare, wireless internet access not only in Los Angeles but also as I take "Mud Offerings" to Chicago and New York.

Eagle Woman lives in a landfill. 

It is her job to make sense of the mess. 

This is what women do. 

It is what words do. 

These are the poetics of sifting through the filth.

But is an eagle capable of such a task?
This performance art event will consist of an eagle's attempts at poetry in time and space.

Based on Goodnow's collaboration with the Generic Ensemble Company in July 2010: 

"Eagle Woman Poems: an in-progress showing."
