Resource Generation for MAKI-JUG's sustainability

Dear Fellow Members,

I would like to bring this issue out which is a concern of every
organization - SUSTAINABILITY.

Apart from membership fees and other collections from the group, I
believe we have to explore other means to support its existence. That
way, previous efforts including the difficult task of putting it up
will not go to waste. Not to mention Pres. Flor's unwavering
commitment that has kept the engine running the past few months.

If given Pres. Flor's blessing, I would like to start this thread on
'Resource Generation" to invite ideas to raise our group's funds
essential to support our activities today and secure our group's
existence in the coming years. The discussions here may also be
elevated to our next upcoming meeting as part of the agenda.

Maybe you can discuss about the Joomla PH website
na 1.5 years na daw under construction.
Si Jdam ata ung may hawak dun.
Meron siguro funds makukuha from ads if possible na
marevive yun?
Just a suggestion :)

May officemate din pala ako na naging speaker din a few years back sa
LB about Joomla. Siya si hacksider, core developer ng Fireboard extension that
eventually evolved into Kunena forum extension.
You might want to add him to the network.
