Today, my MakiBOX has been shipped in Feb. 11th 2014 (tracking number : 15505984852749L), and I'm waiting it arrives since 8 weeks ago (delivery time is 6/8 weeks as it's mentioned on the website).
I contacted the Makible support last week and the only thing they said me is :
"We shipped your order via cargo shipment and recently it is landing England soon, after custom clearance, we will send you by DPD."

It is sooooooooo loooooonnnng...  I'm tired...

Have you contacted support too ?

No, I didn't. My order has been set to IN TRANSFER on Feb 8th. Well, it's not in makibles hand anymore. In so far, i didn't mail them. As soon as the package won't arrive me, I suppose makible would be contacted and the'd contact me...
But i still hope it arrives.. sooon..

Makible sent mine on February 8th ... still on route ... it's taking forever to ship via slow-boat ... I wonder what happens when I need replacement parts? Ship the faulty one back and wait another 2-3 months for the replacement?

Well ... I wait another 2-3 weeks then ...

Generally, replacements are reasonably quick, as you are talking about things that usually go via air post.

However, do you have any ability to track the boat which ships our boxes? Just to see see if they're rowing, sailing or printing...

Nope, there is a lot of time also where we are just waiting for customs clearance, etc.

We are testing a drop in replacement for the idle wheel currently that we will sell as an upgrade (just to cover costs). The boxes will be going up in price soon, with that additional cost built in.

Today my Makibox is on the way from UK to France (Tracking number : 15505984852749L).
Delivery date expected : April 15th 2014

So the shipping time to EU is rather 8/10 weeks than 6/8 weeks.
I am looking forward to play with :)

Makibox received yesterday. 5 hours building.
Tests has started yesterday but I have a lot of problems with the extruder which grind the filament…

Welcome to the club. That's the most common issue by a very, very wide margin, making it all the more frustrating since it seems like this widespread of an issue would have been caught at some point in the two-year development process...

Really it's a combination of the zen drive and insufficient cooling of the hot end. If you look on the forums or the google+ makibox group you can see some of the common solutions. For me I printed an alternative extruder , froZen, and added a powerful desk fan angled properly angled to cool the hotend and not the hotbed.

Yeah ! I modified the original zen drive and now : it works very perfectly !!!
I modified it with my Dremel :
1 - I sand down all parts around the wheel (on the master piece)
2 - I have inserted the wheel in my dremel, switch on my dremel and sand down it with sandpaper
3 - With the same tips, I made a little groove in the wheel which let the filament run without grinding

I wil publish some photos later ;)

Nice to hear so Valentin! I received mine too last week (at last)  and finished building it yesterday. And it didn't work! The hot end does not heat up, even when installed fresh out of the box. Good job team maxibox, good job.

j'ai commandé une makibox en juillet 2013.
 
J'avais un lien vers un tracking pour le transport qui est maintenant supprimé du site de DPD car trop ancien.
je n'ai rien recu.

j'ai relancé makibox par email, mais pas de réponse depuis plusieurs semaines.
faute de réponse j'ai ouvert un litige chez paypal en demandant le remboursement.

Je viens de contacter paypal par telephone, Comme ça fait plus de 45 jours => pas de remboursement possible.  Sauf si nous sommes nombreux a ouvrir un litige a l'encontre du même vendeur . 
dans mon cas, le compte paypal utilisé était "Makible Limited"
il faut donc contacter paypal et ouvrir de nombreux litiges pour être remboursé au delà des 45 jours.

I have sent a number of emails to support and have received no replays what so ever. I ordered a Makibox etc on 4th April. I have received no messages at all about the order or any other response. It looks really looks like this is a big scam and fraud. I have also tried to call a number of time but they do not answer.

So Jon, can you help out getting messages across? or are you part of the scam?
