I need some help with this for the arts festival. I'm buying supplies but haven't done it before. Does anyone have experience that can give me advice or help out? Is this right?

looks right to me, but I am a student of such things, the expert is one of my Facebook/school friends http://studioq.com/ he should remember me but he has taught old school photographic methods around the world, wet plate is his specialty, but he plays with many other methods too

has the correct chemicals and is pre mixed (major bonus), you will want to add gloves and use bakelite or glass containers, any plastic or metal will react badly as the warning label states, this process relies on oxidizing chemicals, and anything that oxidizes will be a mess.

Spoke with Quin and he said most of the kits for cyanotype are good, wet plate you want to do yourself, he even suggested Amazon

I am on my way to the UMED ER wife went to the doctor and was sent by ambulance... I planned to check and see if I have bakelite photography trays, probably won't get there today, wife is pretty certain we still have them, if we can find them in the shed

I will send him a messenger note soon as I shower (wife's orders), eat, and get to ER/Hospital slowly and carefully.

Quinn did not recommend a kit, but a web site he writes quite a bit for.

http://www.alternativephotography.com/processes/

about 2 pages down on my browser, also sent to slack as I was chatting
with wife at the moment he replied and I forgot where I was.

Ok I watched some videos, if I treat the paper, keep it in the dark, how long will it last, can I start doing that now?

as far as Quinn or I remember good paper will last for a week or so but he suggested a couple of days max because even good paper can have traces of things that may react chemically, going to a blueprint supply will possibly get better paper... not sure we still have any in the area, Ogden Blue is the last one I know of, and dad said they closed some years ago

one of the red shirts thinks the U or SLCC bookstores may have blueprint paper, possibly even pretreated, no kit needed but she used it 3 years ago

I looked at inkodye which was suggested but it appears to be going out of business.

new kit from the two links... more prints, 1 liquid, possibly shorter pre-process shelf life

wife all good!
not finding more cyanotype kits that are recommended on my phone.
She's making me check my print and start next piece, and pho as soon as they get her untangled... then I will go through the list Quin sent for kits, he definitely thinks kit over self mix due to the reactivity of the chemicals, and some ease of making a mess instead of blueprint paper
